Savary Gold Initiates New Exploration Program at Karankasso Project (formerly Houndé South and Serakoro 1 Projects), Burkina Faso

Dear Friends & Shareholders:

Savary Gold Corp. recently completed a three week field evaluation program at the recently renamed Karankasso Project (formerly Houndé South and Serakoro 1 projects) in Burkina Faso.  The overall goal of the field evaluation program of the Karankasso Project was to:

  • visit and sample newly identified artisanal mining sites on the property;
  • map the gold-in-soil trends from north to south (see attached map);
  • gather additional geological information on existing zones with a specific goal to improve drill hole targeting and extend the zones along strike;
  • begin to develop new drill targets by sampling, mapping and prioritizing all known artisanal mining sites;
  • develop potential new drill targets by ground truthing significant soil anomalies; and
  • complete a program of detailed soil sampling over the Serakoro 1 West zone where previous drilling returned 3.72 g/t Au over 27.0 metres.

In addition to the field evaluation, an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey (of the Serakoro 1 concession) is also planned for Q1 2015.

This field program should provide the additional necessary data for a follow-up drill program in 2015.  The goals of the next drill program will be to define a maiden mineral resource of close to 1 million ounces and to discover additional zones of gold mineralization.

The Company’s Karankasso Project is located approximately 300 kilometres from the capital of Ouagadougou and the civil unrest events in country have had no effect on the Company or its operations.
